    Disease Name

    Quince Fire Blight Disease

Fire blight is a contagious, systemic and bacterial disease. The bacterium attacks the flowers in early spring and then moves to the twigs and from there to the main branches throughout the tree system. "Fire blight" gets its name from the burnt appearance of the infected leaves, stems and bark. These areas may appear black, shrunken and cracked. The flowers wilt and take on a brown color, and die 1-2 weeks after infection.

    SYMPTOMS
Leaf colors turn brown-black and hang on the branch for a long time in a roasted form. The colors of the flowers turn brown at first and then black. Young shoots turn brown in color; shoots take on a fire-scarred appearance. A white discharge over time on the bark of the branches. In fire blight, a honey-colored ooze can be seen in the bark of the tree (filled with bacteria). When the temperature reaches 15 - 25 °C in the spring, suitable conditions are provided for the bacteria to emerge from their dormant state and for the spread of the disease. Bees, insects, birds, splashing raindrops and wind easily spread bacteria and fire blight disease occurs. Fire blight usually affects apple and pear trees. is seen.

OUR INFORMATION CORNER FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF DISEASE

    • When applied to the infected plant, it encourages the plant to new sprout.

    • Thanks to the carbon and nitrogen sources it contains, the newly formed leaves are resistant to the disease

    • In trees where there is no disease, the general resistance of our trees to the disease increases, as it strengthens the leaf structure and feeds the beneficial microorganisms in the tree thanks to the carbon sources it contains.

    • Since the newly emerging sprouts and shoots are strong, the damage to the tree is minimized as the disease cannot penetrate the leaves

    • Our products is 100% organic.

    • Does not burn the plant in overdose

    • It does not leave any residue on fruit or leaves.
