    Disease Name

    QUINCE MONILIA

Quince monilia is caused by the fungal factor Sclerotinia linhartiana. The fungus overwinters as mycelium on diseased shoots and mummified fruit. From the end of February to the beginning of March, 3-21 brown apothetiums are formed on the mummified fruits spilled on the ground. Ascospores spread to nature from ascius that have completed their development in mature apothesia, carry out primary infection on leaves. Secondary infections are caused by conidiospores formed on the leaves.

The disease causes symptoms on leaves, shoots, flowers and young fruits of quince trees.

Light brown spots that can be seen on the upper surface of young leaves when held up to light in the spring, darken over time. These spots cover a part of the leaf, or sometimes the whole. The smell of almond is dominant on the sick leaves.

Brown spots with a length of 2-3 cm are seen on the lower and upper sides of the point where the petiole meets the shoot. In time, the shoots dry out and the shoots hang down from the dried places

    BLOCK ROT-X

POSITIVE EFFECTS OF OUR BLOCK ROT-X PRODUCT ON THE PLANT

    • When applied to the infected plant, it encourages the plant to new sprout.
    • Thanks to the carbon and nitrogen sources it contains, the newly formed leaves are resistant to the disease
    • In trees where there is no disease, the general resistance of our trees to the disease increases, as it strengthens the leaf structure and feeds the beneficial microorganisms in the tree thanks to the carbon sources it contains.
    • Since the newly emerging sprouts and shoots are strong, the damage to the tree is minimized as the disease cannot penetrate the leaves
    • Our products is 100% organic.
    • Does not cause fire blight in overdose.
    • It does not leave any residue on fruit or leaves.
